About the engagement

Bandpey GmbH is a data and AI software company in Munich, Germany. We are looking for a Senior DevOps Engineer to design and scale modern, cloud-native infrastructure and automation. You will co-develop robust Terraform modules, implement best practices in DevOps workflows and collaborate on the complete rollout of large-scale cloud and data platforms.

What you will do
  • Co-develop and maintain reusable Terraform modules to provision and manage multi-cloud environments.
  • Implement best practices in DevOps workflows, CI/CD pipelines and infrastructure automation.
  • Drive infrastructure as code (IaC) strategies that keep environments modular, secure and reproducible.
  • Collaborate with data engineering and data science teams on end-to-end deployment of cloud and data platforms.
  • Contribute to the design of scalable, fault-tolerant architectures supporting analytics and AI workloads.
What you bring
  • 5+ years of work experience with Amazon Web Services (AWS).
  • 3+ years of work experience with Terraform, including module development and infrastructure automation.
  • 3+ years of work experience with GitHub; hands-on experience with GitHub Enterprise.
  • Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure.
  • Solid understanding of CI/CD, cloud networking and infrastructure as code principles.
  • Familiarity with cloud security practices, including IAM, RBAC and Cloud Access Security (CAS) concepts and implementation.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, and the ability to work across teams and stakeholders.
Nice to have
  • Knowledge of other Terraform providers such as Databricks.

  • Full-time contract.
  • Remote; you must be able to work from within the EU.
